With all the possible health problems that one goes through nowadays people have started picking up a good pace towards healthy way of living in their own convenient way. When it comes to the knowledge that we gained by reading and listening to others who have been able to achieve their health goals one question must strike you all, “Do we need to measure everything we eat to stay healthy”.
To learn how much we need to eat there is a lot of data floating online today that mentions what measure of macros and micros is best for our human body to be able to function right. Then again, there is something known as genetic difference from person to person, also meaning that the way person A is able to metabolize a type of food is way too different than a person B does.
So if I have to state an example, you must have observed that one person can easily digests milk or wheat chapati whereas there would be others who would have lactose intolerance after consuming milk or gastric issues after eating wheat. It is not just about staying sure of your right diet while you are at home but also about how we manage to stick to it while on vacations as this is when most of us tend to think, “lets indulge as much as possible cause we are not sure when will we get the chance of that authentic food” and the feeling is mutual.
I am not saying that we give up on our desires to enjoy food completely, rather what I say is to consume it in in moderation cause the guilt that some of us get as an after effect is unhealthy for our body as it causes bad hormones to release and the entire objective of staying healthy is triggered back to the time of inception of the entire cycle of 3 months routine that we followed and which has collapsed within a week of vacation.
End of the day choice is ours, do we measure food only to meet short term goals like getting ready for a marriage or long term goals of staying fit and active throughout our life.
